TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION (TCP)
1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions of Participation (“TCP”) govern participation in activities organised by Black Escape Collective (BEC), including cultural events, community gatherings, collective travel and co-living experiences.
Participation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these TCP.
2. Associative Framework
Black Escape Collective operates as a non-profit association. Contributions collected from participants represent cost-sharing contributions, not the sale of commercial services.
The association does not act as a travel agency, tour operator or accommodation provider.
3. Participation Conditions
Participation may be subject to selection criteria. Black Escape Collective reserves the right to refuse or cancel participation if a participant’s behaviour jeopardises safety, community harmony or the association’s values.
4. Financial Contribution
Amounts requested correspond to participation in organisational and logistical costs, which may include accommodation, shared activities, coordination, tools and communication.
Payments confirm acceptance of these TCP.
5. Payments
Payments are due upon registration unless otherwise specified. Installment payments may be offered on a discretionary basis.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
6.1 Cancellation by the Participant
Unless otherwise specified, financial contributions are non-refundable, as costs are immediately incurred.
Exceptionally, the association may offer a postponement or partial refund at its discretion.
6.2 Cancellation by the Association
The association may cancel or modify an activity due to force majeure, safety concerns, insufficient participation or external circumstances. In such cases, a postponement or refund solution will be proposed.
7. International Travel & Co-Living – Limitation of Liability
Participants acknowledge and agree that:
Participation in international travel and co-living experiences involves inherent risks.
Participants are solely responsible for their travel arrangements, visas, passports, insurance, health requirements and compliance with local laws.
Black Escape Collective does not provide transport services, insurance coverage or medical assistance.
Each participant participates under their own responsibility and confirms having adequate travel, health and liability insurance.
The association shall not be held liable for:
accidents, illness, injury or death;
loss, theft or damage to personal belongings;
acts or omissions of third-party providers (accommodation owners, transport companies, activity providers);
changes in local conditions, regulations or political situations.
8. Behaviour & Exclusion
Any behaviour contrary to safety, respect or community values may result in immediate exclusion without refund.
9. Image Rights
Participants may be photographed or filmed during activities. Participation implies consent to the use of such images for association communication purposes unless expressly refused in writing.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These TCP are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution shall be sought before legal action
